And a little dianthus? Reminds me of my childhood - Thanks for the lovely pics! I have too many critters to dream of growing many edibles - I enjoy restoration wildlife gardening instead (if you can't beat em...).
thanks country mouse! i am not much of a flower person and haven't learned the names...i'll trust your identifications. dianthus is definitely right (goneferal--those are the magenta flowers with white borders).

We've got those white edged magenta middled little wildflowers as well. I have no idea what they are.
